geo-images (2001)

The album links below require Internet Explorer 5(x) and are not intended for general web users. The code at this time is optimized for intranets as used by Malaspina and although a home cable connection will work, it will be rather slow. Each page has a comments button so please post any ideas, observations, or questions. If you want to save a copy of any image: left click the small image, then right click the big view, and choose 'Save Picture As'.

geo-images (2007)

The above geo-image links are pretty much as they were in 2001 when this album was created. The following links are a hint of what is coming. While both albums are now based on php, the new script scans a directory for images, builds a list, and then displays the thumbnail images. Unlike the album from 2001, which depended on an access database, the image information now is stored in the image and extracted on-load. This includes stuff like gps readings (used now) and will eventually permit the extraction of data like: camera make, date, focal length, etc. Also, the bigView images are now 'watermarked' and created on-the-fly from raw images as requested. This new album should work on all browsers and has been tested on Internet Explorer as well as Firefox.
